Thanks to our 1.5 MWp system, energy efficiency and environmental awareness naturally take top priority at GROHE Technology. This investment means that the bulk of our electricity needs are covered by renewable energy. That applies to production just as much as to the factory buildings. At GROHE Technology, energy is generated through heat recovery and photovoltaics; lighting comes from LEDs and an energy-efficient, intelligent daylight control system. Only low-temperature systems are used to deliver heating energy. Exhaust air is filtered and, with a small share of fresh air, returned to the room as pre-warmed supply air via a heat exchanger. These and many other measures make GROHE Technology an exemplary company when it comes to sustainability.
